Security

Some parts of the web server are locked to protect critical operations from unauthorized users.

• Log into the web server to enable access to the locked functions.
• See User Authentication.
• Functions are not locked if you access the web server through the KAS-IDE.
  This automatically grants administrator access.

These functions are locked:

• Backup and Restore
• Diagnostics tab
• KAS Application tab
• Settings tab

Backup and Restore

• Backup
• Restore
• Export Backup
• Choose File and Replace Backup

Diagnostics tab

• Reboot the controller.
• Clear errors and alarms.
• Clear a crash dump.

KAS Application tab

• Start, stop, or cold-start an application.
• Clear user data.
• Clear all errors.
• Configure auto-start.
• Apply or clear shared directory settings.

Settings tab

• Firmware upgrade - choose File and Upgrade.
• Reboot the controller or device.
• Reset to factory settings.
• SD card format.
• Change password.
• Change the network settings (IP address).

PCMM2G Only

• Configure the NTP.
• Update the time zone.
• Format a USB flash drive.
